Acquired a Prodigy SE accelerator card from Levco / SuperMac. My best guess is that it was manufactured between 1987 and 1990. I haven't tested it yet; I wanted to see if anyone has any information about the card or the company.
Specifically: There is a 68020 processor and a 68881 FPU, and one meg of 32-bit memory on the card, from what I can see. I have not been able to identify the memory chips yet. Anyone recognize them?
Looks like the board could support another row (1 Meg?) on board. Then there are those funny-looking terminal blocks at the end of the row. I guess that's for a memory expansion board.
Don't know if the expansion board was ever made; manual says "when available", depending on the release of larger SIMMs and a memory page management chip.
There is an expansion port, manual says possibly for a Radius card? Apparently to use it you need a right-angle adapter, not included with this purchase.
If anyone has knowledge of the particulars, feel free to chime in.
Thanks for your responses,
