TI 99/4A Items

I have some TI 99/4A items from my late father's estate.

Rather than just dump these items down at the local charity store where they will surely meet a bad fate, I am going to try getting rid of them here. I am not certain what the best way is to make this happen, but I am not looking for any compensation for these items. Instead, I would just be happy if they found a good home. They brought us many years of good memories, but I just will not ever set the old TI stuff up ever again.

Here is a something of a list:
2 TI99/4A consoles
1 peripheral expansion box (might have gotten wet)
a notebook that contains items such as the following:
  • sales brochures
  • User's reference guide
  • newsletters
  • other documents
Beginner's Basic
Many cassettes. Good luck finding a cassette player!
TI 2049er (awesome game!)
Disk Manager (There is a floppy disk in the PEB)
Book 33 programs for the TI-99/4A by Brian Flynn
Some extra Tunnels of Doom cartridge games on floppy
Book: Data and File Management for the TI-994A John D Grillo et. al.
Console Technical \Data
TI Home Computer Demonstration Guide
Microsoft Multiplan (yes, that Microsoft)
TI-Writer
Wico command control trackball
Q-Bert, Parsec, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong
Assorted Controllers

The condition of the items bears some discussion. These items were stored in a damp basement for years and smell like it. The peripheral expansion box has some water mark on the box outside, and it might have gotten wet. I just don't have a way to set everything up anymore and test it.

I would even be willing to drive the items to you at some point, if you are not too far away. I live in Virginia, sort of close to Washington DC. We would need to work out a delivery date, and sometime in July is probably doable. If you are further away than say a three hour drive, we can talk about shipping I suppose.

If you have made it this far, you might be interested. If nothing else, please leave a thought or two on ways other than the garbage I might pass these items along to someone that is interested.
