I have Quickbasic and the Brief editor programs running in my 5155 computer. I can create .bas files in the editor and can compile & run them successfully in Quickbasic.
However there is a function available in Brief where a supported program, like Quickbasic, or other compilers, can run from inside the editor. The details for this are set up in the Brief setup menu under file extensions. However, as noted in the attached photo where I have placed the big red question mark, I'm not sure what to specify here ?
Using the Quickbasic compiler, the usual commands, when inside the program, are Load , Compile , Run etc, so I'm not certain of how to configure this part of the Brief setup so it can open and access the compiler with Dos commands. I've been wondering if it might take a batch file to do it since it is a multi-step process ?
