Hello all, we have some pcb layout files from ATARI Corporation, Dallas, Texas. They have been created in 1992 or earlyer using the PCB layout software CADSTAR on MS-DOS. There are tools to open files downto version CADSTAR 7 for MS-DOS, but not earlyer ones. The files are earlyer ones. And they contain interesting strings like "ATARI FALCON030/MICROBOX REV 1 FINAL". This is real computer archeology...
So what we need is a converter for CADSTAR 6 and earlier files. According to an article I have seen, with CADSTAR 7 there was a file converter called UPLOAD get the older file formats in the newer format.
So we are searching for this UPLOAD converter or an older version of CADSTAR, like version 6 with which the old files can be opened and saved to something today useable (gerber, etc.).
Can anybody here help? Please?
