Hi everyone, I have a Quadra 840 AV board that was working in the past, but no longer works. The board was recapped back when it was fully functional. After not touching it for a few months, I tried turning it on. The first time, it booted up just fine, but when I turned it off and started it back up again the screen was black...no video at all.
I know 840 AV boards are notorious for being finicky and difficult to bring back to life, which is why I'm starting to get concerned. I don't have a lot of test tools at my disposal, so other than reseating the VRAM, I haven't been able to do much. I wanted to know if there is anyone out there that would be able to further test this board and see what could be wrong. I'd appreciate any help anyone has to offer!
Thanks
