Got given a system with one of the IDR x016 pci boards and the backplane. Thing's been through
hell but looks like one heck of a recording system. Backplane's got inputs for 16 cameras, plus a video output, plus a breakout terminal strip for motion detectors/sensors plus an alarm trigger.
Haven't been able to find any decent info on this board, other then the obvious Conexant 878a chip used for video input. I'd like to try and salvage something out of this system. It took a heck of a beating! The expansion backplate took the brunt of the damage, as it looks like someone tried to rip out the video cable (and succeeded) The camera input backplane faired a bit better with only 3 of the BNC terminals broken. I managed to test the video inputs (all worked, yay!)
Anyone out there have a manual for these boards? The IDIS part number looks to be CI2N2DB00071. I wrote an email to the company's technical support looking for the software and drivers, but i don't expect they will respond :(
I put out a question on the Zoneminder forums, maybe it works with that system?
