Rather than hijack Hans01's poll I thought I should do the right thing and start a new thread.
A friend recently came across and collection of Model IIs. He definitely found the mother lode. Not sure how he tracked them down.
They were used by a business that put them into storage after they switched to big blue and have been in storage for a LONG time in a damp and dusty environment, so a bit of rust and some corrosion on the aluminium frames of the drives.
The mains caps on all of the supplies are cracked so I will have to change them before I attempt to power them up.
I picked the best looking of the bunch and that is now sitting on my work bench while I ponder the best plan of attack.
A lot of work to do before I pull the trigger - might use the same process that's used to test old rifles, a long piece of string and hide behind a tree.
A few more pics
cheers
